Bandy Suspension is an effective medication used to treat parasitic worm infections in children. It works by preventing the worms from absorbing essential nutrients, which leads to their energy depletion and eventual death. The dead worms are then expelled from the body through the stool.

Salt Composition/Key Ingredient

  • Albendazole (200mg)

How to Use
Give Bandy Suspension to your child as prescribed by the doctor. It is best taken with a fat-containing food, such as milk, to help improve absorption.

  • If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, administer the same dose again.
  • The usual treatment duration is a single dose, but some infections may require a longer course, which your doctor will specify. If prescribed, repeat doses may be given after two weeks to prevent re-infection.
  • Always follow the prescribed duration of treatment to avoid the risk of re-infection or incomplete treatment.

Uses of Bandy Suspension in Children

  • Treatment of Parasitic Worm Infections

Benefits of Bandy Suspension for Your Child
Bandy Suspension is a potent anti-parasitic medication that helps eliminate a variety of parasitic worm infections. By killing the parasites and preventing their further growth, Bandy Suspension helps your child recover from the infection. Even if symptoms improve, it’s important to complete the full course to ensure all parasites are eradicated and prevent resistance.

Side Effects of Bandy Suspension in Children
Bandy Suspension is generally well-tolerated by children. However, some common and temporary side effects may occur:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Dizziness
  • Loss of appetite
  • Headache
  • Abdominal pain
  • Sore throat
  • Mild fever
  • Hair fall

These side effects usually resolve as the body adjusts to the medication. However, if any of these persist or cause concern, or if you notice unusual bleeding, consult your child’s doctor immediately.

How Bandy Suspension Works
When worms enter the body through contaminated food or drink, they attach to the inner walls of the intestines or migrate to other organs. Bandy Suspension works by interfering with the worms’ ability to absorb glucose (sugar). Without glucose, the worms lose energy, die, and are expelled from the body through the stool.
