Uses:

• Primary Use: Facilitates the inhalation of dry powder medications through a Rotacap (a capsule containing medication powder), ensuring precise and easy dosing with every use.

Directions for Use:

1. Assemble the Device: Hold the Rotahaler vertically and align the two halves so that the fin is not directly under the Rotacap hole.
2. Insert the Rotacap: Remove the Rotacap from its container and place it into the device with the transparent end facing downward.
3. Prepare for Inhalation: Hold the mouthpiece firmly with one hand and rotate the base of the device.
4. Inhale the Medication: Fully exhale, place the mouthpiece between your teeth, and close your lips tightly around it. Tilt your head slightly backward, then inhale rapidly and deeply through the mouth.
5. Hold Your Breath: After inhaling, hold your breath for 10 seconds or as long as you are comfortable.
6. Exhale Normally: After holding your breath, breathe out normally.
7. Repeat if Necessary: If some powder remains in the capsule, repeat step 4 for a second inhalation.
8. Dispose of the Capsule: Open the Rotahaler and discard the empty Rotacap capsule.

Steps to Clean the Rotahaler:

1. Separate the Device: Remove the two halves of the Rotahaler.
2. Dispose of the Capsule: Discard the empty Rotacap shell.
3. Clean the Device: Rinse the two halves of the Rotahaler under clean running water.
4. Dry the Device: Shake off excess water and leave the device to air dry thoroughly before reassembling it.
