Description
Albid 400 Tablet is an anthelmintic medication used to treat a variety of parasitic worm infections, including neurocysticercosis (caused by pork tapeworm) and cystic hydatid disease (caused by dog tapeworm). It is also effective in treating infections caused by roundworms, hookworms, threadworms, whipworms, pinworms, flukes, and other parasites. The tablet works by inhibiting tubulin polymerisation in parasites, leading to metabolic disruption, energy depletion, and immobilisation, ultimately killing the parasites.
Salt Composition:
Albendazole (400 mg).
How to Use:
Take Albid 400 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it. If prescribed in liquid form, use the provided measuring cup or syringe to take the correct dose, and shake well before use. For chewable tablets, ensure to chew the tablet thoroughly before swallowing.
