Description

Akurit Tablet is a combination medication used to treat tuberculosis (TB), an infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs but can also involve other parts of the body. It works by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria responsible for causing the infection.

Salt Composition
Rifampicin (150mg) + Isoniazid (75mg)

How to Use
Take Akurit Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken on an empty stomach for optimal effectiveness. Swallow the tablet whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Always take it at the same time each day to maintain its effectiveness. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not double the dose to make up for a missed one. Complete the entire course of treatment even if you feel better. Avoid consuming tyramine-rich foods (e.g., cheese, smoked fish, meats, some types of beer) while on this medication.

Uses/Benefits
Akurit Tablet is used in the treatment of tuberculosis (TB). This medication helps kill and prevent the growth of the bacteria causing the infection, thereby helping in the treatment of TB. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage to prevent the infection from returning or worsening. Discontinuing the medication without consulting your doctor can lead to the infection coming back or becoming harder to treat.
