Akurit 4 Tablet is a combination medication used for the treatment of tuberculosis. It prevents the growth of bacteria that cause the infection.
Salt Composition
Isoniazid (75mg) + Rifampicin (150mg) + Ethambutol (275mg) + Pyrazinamide (400mg)
How to Use
Take the medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it whole, without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It should be taken on an empty stomach. Avoid consuming it with tyramine-rich foods such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.

Restrictions
- Alcohol: Avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause symptoms like flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, chest pain, and low blood pressure.
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy, as it may have harmful effects on the developing baby.
- Breastfeeding: Safe for use during breastfeeding if prescribed by a doctor.
- Driving: May cause vision problems and tingling sensations, which can affect your ability to drive.
