Description

AKT-FD Tablet is a combination medication used in the treatment of tuberculosis (TB). It works by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria responsible for the infection.

Isoniazid (100mg), Rifampicin (150mg), Ethambutol (267mg), Pyrazinamide (500mg)

How to Use
Take AKT-FD Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably at a fixed time each day to ensure better effectiveness. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it is almost time for your next dose. Continue the full course of treatment as advised by your doctor, even if you feel better, to prevent the infection from returning.

Restrictions

• Alcohol: Avoid alcohol while taking AKT-FD Tablet as it can cause severe reactions such as nausea, chest pain, and low blood pressure.
• Pregnancy: AKT-FD Tablet should be used with caution during pregnancy. While human studies are limited, animal studies suggest potential harm to the developing baby. Consult your doctor before using this medication during pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding: It is generally safe to use AKT-FD Tablet while breastfeeding, as it does not appear to present significant risk to the baby.
• Driving: AKT-FD Tablet may cause side effects like dizziness or vision problems. Avoid driving until you know how the medication affects you.
