Salt Composition
Cefpodoxime Proxetil (50 mg/5 ml) + Clavulanic Acid (31.25 mg/5 ml)
How to Use
Administer Afado-CV Dry Syrup to your child exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The medicine should be given an hour before or two hours after meals. If your child experiences stomach upset, it may be given with food. Follow the prescribed dose based on the type and severity of the infection, as well as your child’s age and weight. If your child vomits or expels the medicine within 30 minutes of taking it, repeat the dose. However, do not double the dose if it’s time for the next one.
Uses/Benefits
Afado-CV Dry Syrup is primarily used for the treatment of respiratory tract infections in children, including infections of the sinuses, throat, airways, or lungs. It combines Cefpodoxime Proxetil, which prevents bacterial growth, and Clavulanic Acid, which enhances the efficacy of Cefpodoxime by reducing bacterial resistance. The syrup helps alleviate infection symptoms and prevents the infection from returning when taken as prescribed.
