Always follow the prescribed dosage as it is determined based on the type, severity of the infection, and your child’s age and body weight. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose. However, do not double the dose if it’s almost time for the next one.
Uses/Benefits
Adpoxime CV Dry Syrup is primarily used to treat respiratory tract infections in children. The combination of Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Clavulanic Acid works together to fight bacteria causing respiratory infections by inhibiting bacterial growth and reducing resistance to the antibiotic. Continuing the full course of treatment, even after symptoms improve, ensures that all bacteria are eradicated and prevents resistance.
