Description
Actamase 1000mg/125mg Injection is a part of the antibiotic class of medications designed to treat bacterial infections. These infections are caused by the harmful multiplication of bacteria in or on the body, leading to the production of toxins that can harm tissues and cause illness. This injection combines two medications—Cefepime, a cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall formation, and Tazobactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that broadens the antibiotic’s action by blocking beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain bacteria. Actamase is not effective against viral infections and is meant exclusively for bacterial infections.
