Description

Aconpod-CV Dry Syrup is a potent antibiotic combination designed to treat a variety of severe bacterial infections in children, including infections of the ear, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, preventing the infection from spreading.

Salt Composition
Cefpodoxime Proxetil 50mg + Clavulanic Acid 31.25mg

How to Use
Administer Aconpod-CV Dry Syrup an hour before or two hours after meals. If your child experiences stomach upset, you may give it with food. Ensure you follow the prescribed dosage, as it is tailored to your child’s age, body weight, and the severity of the infection. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose, but do not double the dose if it’s time for the next one. Always use a measuring cup to administer the syrup, and shake the bottle well before use.

Uses/Benefits
Aconpod-CV Dry Syrup is used to treat respiratory tract infections in children. The combination of Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Clavulanic Acid works together to kill the bacteria causing the infection. Cefpodoxime Proxetil halts bacterial growth, while Clavulanic Acid reduces bacterial resistance and enhances the action of Cefpodoxime Proxetil. This medicine typically shows improvement within a few days, but it’s important to complete the prescribed course to ensure full eradication of bacteria and prevent resistance.
