Description
Acef Syrup is an antibiotic used primarily for treating a wide range of bacterial infections in children, including those affecting the ears, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It is also effective in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents. To minimize the risk of stomach upset, it is recommended to give the syrup an hour before or two hours after meals. However, if stomach upset occurs, it is better to administer it with food. Always follow the prescribed dose, as it is tailored to the type of infection, its severity, and your child’s age and weight. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose but avoid doubling the dose if the next scheduled dose is near.
