Description

Oflomac-M Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly prescribed for children to treat a wide range of bacterial and parasitic infections. It contains two active ingredients, ofloxacin and metronidazole, which work together to effectively fight infections in the body.

Salt Composition:

• Ofloxacin – 50 mg/5 ml
• Metronidazole – 100 mg/5 ml

• Dosage and Administration:
  • Typically prescribed twice daily (morning and evening).
  • Take with food if your child experiences stomach upset.
  • Administer the prescribed dose using a measuring cup. Shake well before use.
  • If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose, but do not double the dose if it’s time for the next one.
• Side Effects:
  • Most side effects are mild and temporary, including:
    • Nausea and vomiting
    • Loss of appetite and weight loss
    • Abdominal pain or cramps
    • Diarrhea
    • Headache, dizziness, and insomnia
    • Metallic taste in the mouth
    • Urine discoloration (rare)
