Description

Xprab Vaccine is used to protect individuals at high risk of exposure to the rabies virus, such as veterinarians. It is also administered to individuals after an animal bite if the animal could be infected with rabies. When given promptly and correctly, the vaccine is highly effective in preventing rabies.

Salt Composition
Rabies vaccine, Human (150IU)

How to Use
The Xprab Vaccine is administered by injection under the supervision of a doctor or nurse. It is given after thoroughly washing any bite wounds with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. The vaccine is most effective when administered as soon as possible after exposure. In cases of post-exposure, both the vaccine and Immunoglobulin are typically required, unless the person has previously completed the full vaccination regimen.

Uses/Benefits
Xprab Vaccine is primarily used for the prevention of rabies, a deadly disease transmitted through the saliva of infected animals. It is recommended for individuals who are at a higher risk of exposure, such as those working with animals or living in areas where rabies is common. The vaccine works by stimulating the body to produce antibodies, which help protect against the rabies virus. It is also given to individuals following exposure to prevent the onset of the disease.

Side Effects
Most side effects are mild and go away as the body adjusts to the vaccine. Common side effects include pain, joint pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site, as well as swelling of lymph nodes. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
