Product Introduction
Amodep-TMH Tablet is a combination medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication does not effectively control the condition. By helping to lower high blood pressure, it reduces the risk of future heart attacks and strokes.
This tablet contains a combination of Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide. Amodep-TMH Tablet should be taken regularly as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel well, as high blood pressure typically does not show symptoms. This helps prevent complications and ensures long-term health benefits. It is important to take the medication consistently to achieve the best results.
Because it contains a diuretic (water pill), it may increase urination. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of bedtime to prevent frequent urination during the night.

How Amodep-TMH Tablet Works
Amodep-TMH Tablet combines Telmisartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker, or ARB), Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker, or CCB), and Hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic). Together, these medicines work in different ways to lower blood pressure:
- Telmisartan and Amlodipine relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.
- Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps the body eliminate excess water and electrolytes, further lowering blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart.
