Description
Advent 457mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections in children, including infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is particularly effective against bacteria that have become resistant to other treatments, including multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). The combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid works to kill bacteria and prevent resistance, making this medication a crucial option for treating certain resistant infections.
Salt Composition
Amoxycillin (400mg) + Clavulanic Acid (57mg)
How to Use
Advent 457mg Tablet DT should be administered as per your doctor’s instructions. It can be taken with or without food, although taking it with food is recommended to enhance absorption and minimize stomach upset. Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water before giving it to your child. The dosage and frequency depend on your child’s condition, age, and body weight. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose, but do not double the dose if it’s time for the next one.

- The combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid enhances the effectiveness of the treatment by preventing the breakdown of Amoxycillin and improving its action against resistant bacteria.
